A condition where oxygen levels in the blood drop during sleep. It can be linked to sleep apnoea, lung disease, or cardiovascular problems and requires accurate monitoring to identify and manage.

Nocturnal hypoxaemia refers to periods of low blood oxygen during sleep. It may result from OSA, hypoventilation, or cardiopulmonary disease. Persistent hypoxaemia can increase cardiovascular and cognitive risks.
